Michael Higgs, well known to British TV viewers  for his portrayal of 'Eddie Santini' in "The Bill" played the title role in  'Wilfred'. Michael has recently finished filming POIROT - EVIL UNDER THE SUN  and performing THE BLUE ROOM at The Haymarket Theatre. Other Film credits  include RELATIVE VALUES.

"I've seen Wilfred Owen played as a limp, nervous, uncertain character. But read the life experience in his words and then recall his  age - there had to be more to Owen than this stereotype.
Casting Michael  Higgs as Wilfred was easy. While he has a not dissimilar look to Owen, he also brought an authority and depth to the character which I think contrasts well with an audience's perception of Michael from his role as PC  Eddie Santini in the popular ITV series THE BILL."
